Enrichment Classes

Music & Movement

Children will delight in attending Music and Movement class. Music is fascinating to young children and is an excellent form of self-expression. They will be exposed to structured movement and hands-on opportunities to practice coordination and large muscle development. They will hear the Biblestory told in a variety of creative ways and learn fun and engaging songs as well as experiment with a variety of child-friendly instruments.

Spanish

Children enrolled in our 5-day Pre-K, Bridge, and kindergarten classes will participate in a weekly Spanish class learning basic language skills through games, songs, fingerplays and activities.

Discovery Lab

The Discovery Lab is a new environment at Lamb School where students will have the opportunity to investigate and integrate the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math – commonly referred to as STEAM. We are excited for our students ages 3-5 to have this weekly specialized lab time taught by a gifted teacher to further nurture growing problem solving skills, scientific and mathematical thinking and creativity.

Our enrichment classes are a vital part of the Lamb School experience, providing sensory, motor and academic learning in new and different environments. During COVID-19, these activities will be provided by specialized teachers in the student’s classroom. Currently, restrictions prevent us from having different groups of students visit the same indoor spaces. While this is disappointing, we are excited that our students will still engage in these classes in a safe way. Just as soon as we can, we will reopen our Music and Movement Room, the Discovery Lab and our Chapel space. Thank you for your patience!
