Here are the two studies we will be doing:
Stuck: The Places We Get Stuck and the God Who Sets Us Free: written by Jennie Allen and led by Vicki Bischoff
We are often so stuck in invisible struggles going on in our hearts and minds that we barely have space for God. These deep struggles, these stuck places, are familiar to every one of us—brokenness, anger, discontentment, fear, and sadness. Stuck takes on these struggles within us so that we can encounter God. Because until we recognize that we are stuck and in need of God, we will miss what He has for us. We will have several women leading the 8 different studies: Estelle Gilbert, Jan Freeman, Vicki Moore, Jean Anne Witty, Amy Barnhart and more.
In Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, written by Nabeel Qureshi and led by Vicki Moore
Describes Oureshi’s dramatic journey from Islam to Christianity – complete with friendships, investigations, and supernatural dreams along the way.
Providing an intimate window into a loving Muslim home, Qureshi shares how he developed a passion for Islam before discovering, almost against his will, evidence that Jesus rose from the dead and claimed to be God. Unable to deny the arguments but not wanting to deny his family, Qureshi struggled with an inner turmoil that will challenge Christians, Muslims, and all those who are interested in the world’s greatest religions.
