Our Mission

Joyfully partner with families who want to instill a love for God’s word and an eagerness to learn in the hearts of their children. We provide early childhood Christian education to help young children grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

Programs

Infants (6 month olds -17 month olds)

NEW! 

Your child will engage in relationship-based play designed purposefully around monthly themes inspiring play opportunities that invite exploration and discovery.

We commit to creating a loving and safe environment. where your child will engage in storytelling, songs, sensory experiences and intentional activities to encourage movement and cognitive growth as well as important emerging language skills. Your child’s teacher will plan each day according to your child’s unique development and interests and work with you to keep them on their natural eating and napping schedule.

Above all, we aim to develop warm and caring relationships with each child so that they can build trust and emotional security. A Daily Journal will travel between home and school so that important information can be shared.

18-Month-Olds

Children at this age are growing in their developmental skills and are curious about their environment. Our classrooms nurture children as they grow in independence and self-discovery. Life skills such as eating, potty training, and communicating are encouraged with love and patience. Singing, fingerplays, creative expression, story-time, free play, and outdoor adventures give curious two-year-olds a safe and nurturing environment to learn and grow with friends.

Two-Year-Olds

Three-Year-Olds

 

3-year-olds are bursting with curiosity and excitement. At Lamb School, your 3-year-old will experience a daily routine that provides an opportunity for creative expression, free play, and structured teaching time. Children will expand their knowledge of the alphabet and number sense while continuing to grow in their independence and self-discovery. They will practice social skills during small group activities, center time, and playground adventures. Children also begin attending weekly chapel at this age, which is a highlight of their week.

Pre-K

The Lamb School Pre-K classroom is a highly creative, fun learning environment for four-year-olds. Children are engaged in large group instruction, small group activities, and independent exploration. At this age, children practice communication and problem-solving skills in a safe, nurturing environment. Our teachers assist students in developing all the skills they will need as they transition to kindergarten or a Bridge program the following year.

Bridge

The Lamb School Bridge program is for children age five by September first but need the gift of time prior to starting kindergarten. The Bridge classroom is an exciting learning community that fosters a love for learning, problem-solving, independence and Christian nurture. The Bridge classroom is also a place where children grow in their confidence and skills across all academic, social, spiritual, and emotional domains. Students gain a sure foundation while preparing to make a successful transition to kindergarten.

Kindergarten

Kindergarten is a critical bridge between preschool and the elementary years. Utilizing research-based, outcome-driven teaching techniques and curriculum, along with the implementation of best practice in child development theory, Lamb School offers a kindergarten learning environment that is rigorous but joyful. We offer a challenging academic curriculum coupled with hands-on, developmental, play-based activities to build a firm foundation for young learners. We are also committed to developing a child’s Christian worldview by integrating our Bible curriculum into everything we teach and do. Our goal is to nurture the whole child, providing a firm Christ-centered foundation for readiness and success in elementary education.

First Grade

Our goal in first grade is to provide students with an educational experience that encourages academic, social, and spiritual growth. We provide learning experiences that promote grade-level mastery in reading, writing, science and mathematics while also assisting students to grow in creativity, collaboration, curiosity, and critical thinking.

Our staff provides attentive care in a small classroom setting devoted to Christian discipleship. Students are nurtured in the Word of God and encouraged in their walk with Christ. Each child is seen as a unique and precious gift of God and assisted to reach their fullest God-given potential.

Extended Care

Lamb School is pleased to offer an Extended Care program to better serve families.

  • Early Birds (8am – 9am) – In the morning, Early Bird students will engage in activities until class begins at 9:00am.

 

  • Stay and Play (pick up between 3pm-5pm) -Stay & Play offers a schedule of enrichment activities for students taught by a Lamb School teacher. Students will enjoy an afternoon snack, outdoor time, STEAM activities, Maker Station Art, music, thematic learning free-play centers, and time in a new Motor Skills Lab. You may register to pick up at 3:00, 4:00, or 5:00pm.

 

  • Fun Fridays (12pm – 3pm) – Lamb School dismisses at noon on Fridays. Students may now enroll in Fun Fridays and enjoy afternoon activities until 3:00pm.

Enrichment Classes

Music & Movement
Music & Movement

Music is fascinating to young children and is an excellent form of self-expression. They will be exposed to structured movement and hands-on opportunities to practice coordination and large muscle development. They will hear Bible stories told in a variety of creative ways and learn fun and engaging songs as well as experiment with child-friendly instruments.

Spanish
Spanish

Children enrolled in our 5-day Pre-K, Bridge, and kindergarten classes will participate in a weekly Spanish class learning basic language skills through games, songs, fingerplays and activities.

Discovery Lab
Discovery Lab

The Discovery Lab is a new environment at Lamb School where students will have the opportunity to investigate and integrate the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math – commonly referred to as STEAM. We are excited for our students ages 3-5 to have this weekly specialized lab time taught by a gifted teacher to further nurture growing problem solving skills, scientific and mathematical thinking and creativity.

Lamb School operates September through May. Our school day runs from 9:00am – 2:00pm Monday – Thursday (up to 5:00pm for Extended Care) with dismissal for all classes at 12:00pm on Fridays.

Lamb School dismisses at noon on Fridays, or 3pm for those enrolled in Fun Fridays.
