Visible Campaign

Church Family,

The last two years as your Lead Pastor have been some of the most exciting and fruitful times in my ministry life. With that said, I believe the best is yet to come! We have prayed, we have sought wise counsel, and I am excited as the Holy Spirit has led and continues to lead us.

The past few seasons here at TheMET have seen much transition. God’s purposes in these transitions have led us to become more obedient and will help us receive what God has in store for TheMET. This is a brand-new day and I believe God is calling us onward and upward. We are called to represent Christ as we make the love of Jesus more visible to the
community in which we serve.

This campaign, Visible, is a call to each and every one of us as followers of Christ to get in the game. It is a challenge for us to make our own faith more evident in the way we give and the way we serve those God has called us to love. It is a conviction of the leadership of this church to do whatever we can to create environments where people can easily connect to God and to His church.

Our church is faced with challenges, such as aging and tired facilities, repurposing of land, and current use of spaces. This is accompanied by our need to increase our faith in the way we bring our offerings to God. Our community has changed over the years and the demographics are ever shifting, but the mission of making disciples of Jesus has never changed. I am going to ask you to join with me as well as our church staff and leadership in bringing a sacrificial offering, over and above your tithe, for the next three years.

Prayerfully commit your own life in faith to becoming a vital part of what our great God is about to do in our midst. We are asking everyone who attends our church to joyfully participate and share in the victory of these days. Through it all, please remember these words of Scripture:
“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” - Ephesians 3:20-21
