Visible Campaign Update
The last four years as your Lead Pastor have been some of the most exciting and fruitful times in my ministry life. With that said, I believe the best is yet to come! We have prayed, we have sought wise counsel, and I am excited as the Holy Spirit has led and continues to lead us.
We have experienced many transitions over the past several seasons here at TheMET. God’s purposes in these transitions have led us to become more obedient and will help us receive what God has in store for TheMET. This is a brand-new day and I believe God is calling us onward and upward. We are called to represent Christ as we make the love of Jesus more visible to the community in which we serve.
This campaign, Visible, is a call to each and every one of us as followers of Christ to get in the game. It is a challenge for us to make our own faith more evident in the way we give and the way we serve those God has called us to love. It is a conviction of the leadership of this church to invite people into meaningful relationship with God and each other.
As we come to the end of phase 1 of our current Visible campaign, we look at the work that has been completed to repair aging facilities, repurpose land, and maximize the current use of existing spaces. If you have been giving consistently on your pledge, we thank you.
If you are not giving, prayerfully commit your own life in faith to becoming a vital part of what our great God is doing in our midst. We are asking everyone who attends our church to joyfully participate in giving sacrificially, above and beyond your tithe and share in the victory of these days. Through it all, please remember these words of Scripture:
“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” - Ephesians 3:20-21
