Our Mission at TheMET Church

Inviting people into meaningful relationship with God and each other.

TheMET Church invites you to join a community that lifts you up, accepts you, believes in you, and loves you. Join us and experience how the power of truth, transparency, faith, and love can transform your life.

Navigating the complexity of marriage and parenting is a challenge. Our relationships with those closest to us can be both rewarding and tough. Thankfully, God hasn't left us alone to figure it out by ourselves. Join us for some real talk about doing marriage, parenting, all of our most important relationships in a life-giving, God-honoring way.

Disaster Relief

When a natural disaster hits, let's be a church that responds rather than reacts. God has placed us in our community to be His hands and feet to those in need. Together, we can be a blessing to our city.

What if the church exists to lift the city, impact the community, and help people encounter Jesus? Imagine what God might do when we go all-in—for Houston, the harvest, and His house. More than a teaching series, this is a season when we're All For The H.

God's Pursuing Love

God's pursuing love is our great hope. Invite someone to join you this Sunday as we take a compelling look at what the Scriptures reveal about Jesus' heart for those apart from a relationship with him.

The optimist believes life is good. The resilient optimist maintains that, through it all, life is still good. The biblical narrative tells a different story. Cover to cover, the Bible tells us that things aren't as they should be. Things are broken, including us. Life is hard. But wait, there's more. The story of Scripture is one of rescue, redemption, and salvation. In our next teaching series, we seek the power of the Holy Spirit, the restoring love of Christ, and the faithful goodness of God in every area of life. Invite your friends to join us next Sunday, February 28 for our new series called, Life is Hard. God is good.
