The Beatitudes

Join us for this series as we dig into the beatitudes in Matthew chapter 5. How do we define a blessed life? In his famous sermon on the mount, Jesus flips the idea of blessing on its head. Life in God’s kingdom looks very different from what most of us are used to. At first glance, these beatitudes seem upside down, but on closer inspection, we discover they're actually right side up! Make sure to invite someone you know to join us during the beatitudes. We'll not only explore Jesus' definition of the blessed life, we'll learn how to live the blessed life.

Blessed are those who
Hunger and Thirst
for Righteousness

You've heard it said "you are what you eat" but could it also be true that you are what you crave? Jesus tells us that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness are blessed in His kingdom. But what does this look like? Join us on Sunday for a message from Pastor Matt.

Our Mission at TheMET Church

Inviting people into meaningful relationship with God and each other.

Think you don't deserve a second chance from God? Remind yourself you didn't deserve the first one either. The restoration and redemption of broken lives are central to the gospel. If you've messed up, need help, and are looking for hope, welcome to the club.

TheMET Church invites you to join a community that lifts you up, accepts you, believes in you, and loves you. Join us and experience how the power of truth, transparency, faith, and love can transform your life.

Navigating the complexity of marriage and parenting is a challenge. Our relationships with those closest to us can be both rewarding and tough. Thankfully, God hasn't left us alone to figure it out by ourselves. Join us for some real talk about doing marriage, parenting, all of our most important relationships in a life-giving, God-honoring way.

The optimist believes life is good. The resilient optimist maintains that, through it all, life is still good. The biblical narrative tells a different story. Cover to cover, the Bible tells us that things aren't as they should be. Things are broken, including us. Life is hard. But wait, there's more. The story of Scripture is one of rescue, redemption, and salvation. In our next teaching series, we seek the power of the Holy Spirit, the restoring love of Christ, and the faithful goodness of God in every area of life. Invite your friends to join us next Sunday, February 28 for our new series called, Life is Hard. God is good.
