Persecution & Martyrdom: Faith Under Fire

What does it mean to follow Christ when the cost is high? How can the stories of believers who stood firm in the face of hostility inspire us to live boldly in today’s world?

In this engaging and thought-provoking class, we’ll uncover powerful lessons from the persecuted church—both in history and today. Together, we’ll explore:

  • Jesus’ Words on Persecution: What did He tell His disciples about suffering for their faith, and how can we apply His teachings to our lives?
  • Courageous Stories from the Early Church: Be inspired by the extraordinary faith of believers who endured unimaginable trials in the first three centuries.
  • Modern-Day Persecution: From Communist regimes to religious extremism and secular hostility, Christians around the world face real threats to their faith. We’ll hear their stories and learn what it means to stand firm.

We’ll also tackle challenging questions: Is persecution happening in America? How should we respond to a culture that’s increasingly skeptical—even hostile—toward Christianity? And how can we support our brothers and sisters around the globe?

This isn’t just a history lesson—it’s a call to action. Discover what it looks like to live out your faith with courage, compassion, and unwavering hope.

Are you ready to dive in? Join us, and let’s learn how to shine brighter when the world grows darker.
