Lift The City

Let’s work together to LIFT THE CITY. Local compassion efforts are one of many ways we love our neighbors and support our community. We seek to serve with humility to empower, resource, and lift the dignity of all people as image-bearers of God.

Helping Hands Ministry

Helping Hands

Helping hands is a volunteer ministry of The MET Church designed to lift the spirits of our widows and seniors especially those without family in the area.  Our volunteers help with basic housework such as cleaning up the yard, packing away seasonal items, and light home repairs.

Want to join us? Helping Hands meets once a month on a Saturday morning to serve around 6 homes. We meet at the church at 7:30am for a light breakfast and then divide out to our serve sites. Each team finishes around lunch time. Helping hands is open to men, women, and children as young as elementary age with adult supervision. Click the registration button below to find the dates for our next workday.

Looking for Assistance? Signup below if you would like to apply for assistance and one of our team members will call you to talk though your request in detail.

Don't wait for the church. Be the church.
