Join The MET Worship Team
We inspire people to encounter God.
The purpose of The MET Worship Team is to pursue the heart of Jesus by cultivating true worshipers who express their love for the Lord on and off the platform. We use our gifts and talents to prepare the atmosphere for people to encounter God’s presence.
Our team is made up of MET Worship staff and Dream Team volunteers who serve during weekend services, special events, and outreach opportunities—locally and globally.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for servant-hearted worshipers who:

- Pursue Excellence
- Choose Joy
Vocalists should be able to hear, find, and maintain harmonies while actively engaging in expressive, Spirit-led worship.
Musicians should be able to play with excellence, follow musical direction, and demonstrate stage presence.
Here’s How the Process Works
Step 1: Submit Your Audition & Testimony
Your first step is to complete the online Worship Team Application. As part of this, you’ll need to:
- Submit two (2) links to videos of you performing your primary role (vocalist or musician).
Videos must be uploaded to YouTube (Unlisted), Google Drive, or Dropbox, and shareable via link.
Phone video quality is acceptable—we’re not looking for perfection, we’re looking for your heart and your ability!
- Submit your testimony — either written or via video link.
( If you’re auditioning to be a worship leader, we strongly prefer a video testimony.)
Step 2: Live Audition Invitation
If your submission meets the skill and heart we’re looking for, you’ll be invited to a live audition with our Worship Leadership Team.
This allows us to worship together, hear your heart in person, and assess how you respond in a live setting.
Step 3: Worship Workshop
If selected from your live audition, you’ll be invited to our quarterly Worship Workshop (replacing our previous 6–8 week onboarding class).
These workshops are designed to:
- Equip you musically and spiritually
- Introduce you to the culture of MET Worship
- Build community with other worship team members. Attendance at a Worship Workshop is required before you begin serving.
Step 4: Join the Platform Rotation
After completing the workshop and final onboarding steps, you’ll be added to our platform rotation based on ministry needs and your availability.
Our Worship and Music Directors will continue to disciple and grow you in your gifting and leadership.

You’ll hear from us within two (2) weeks after your live audition.
Team members are scheduled in advance and use Planning Center Online (PCO) to access music and set flow.
Rehearsals are held before each scheduled service, and members are expected to come prepared.
