Bed Delivery Day
September 24, 2022 8:30am - 1:00pm | The MET Church parking lot - (near white metal buildings close to Bleyl side)
On Saturday, September 24 The MET is partnering with Sleep In Heavenly Peace for Bed Delivery Day. We have the opportunity to lift the city by bringing hope to families in need in the form of a new bed for kids who do not have a bed. Our teams will bring prebuilt beds to the homes of kids in need, assemble, and make the beds with a new mattress and bedding. The kids will be sleeping in their new beds that evening!
What you need to know:
- We need 30 -40 volunteers able to help assemble bed frames.
- Families with preteens (4th grade+) and up are welcome to serve together.
- Meet at 8:30 at The MET Church parking lot near the white sheds.
- We will divide into teams with experienced team leads to deliver beds to 2-4 homes each. Teams will use their own vehicles to carpool to the homes.
- Team deliveries should be complete by 1:00pm.
