Together, we will pray for His light to shine in our community and for lives to be transformed for eternity. We stand firm in the belief that prayer unlocks the power and presence of God in our lives—and it begins with men coming together in prayer.

Week 7: Divine Mentor// S.O.A.P method: Building a deeper, personal relationship with God through regular study, reflection, and application of the Bible. We will use a practical method during that evening’s session known as S.O.A.P:

·  Scripture: Read the Bible and note a specific verse or passage.

·  Observation: Reflect on the meaning and context.

·  Application: Consider how the scripture applies to personal life.

·  Prayer: Pray for wisdom and strength to live it out.

Week 8: Breakaway: A Men’s Worship Night A night for men to “breakaway” from the noise and distractions of everyday life, refocusing their hearts and minds on Christ. Together, we will worship, take communion, engage in prayer, and experience personal renewal. A compelling testimony will be shared, revealing a man’s faith that has withstood life’s greatest challenge. Key themes for the evening include slowing down, resetting the heart, reflection and confession, deep communion with God, prayer partnership, action, and renewed commitment.

Week 9: Winning the War Within: We will explore the powerful message of overcoming addictions, bad habits, and strongholds in every aspect of our lives! This event is designed to equip and empower you to conquer the internal battles that hinder your walk with God and your relationships, break free from personal struggles, and find true freedom in Christ.

Week 10: Lifestyle of Discipleship: Exploring the life and mission of making disciples through the message and methods of Jesus, we will uncover the biblical definition of a disciple and how living out this mission impacts our daily lives. We’ll discuss the next steps in spiritual growth, identify areas of service, and introduce the vision for how MET MEN can remain actively connected and engaged in their discipleship journey.

Week 11: THE FORGE- This will be our final night of MAN UP, and the movie THE FORGE will be shown at the Worship Center. Join us for a special screening of The Forge—a powerful story of resilience, brotherhood, discipleship, and faith! This is the perfect opportunity to invite your sons, the men you work with, the men in your neighborhood, and all the men you call “friends” to experience a movie night that will inspire and ignite conversations about real life, real challenges, and real hope.
