Re:gen For Students
September 8, 9:30 am - November 10 - 10:30 am | The HUB Community Center (directly across The MET on Jones)
Being a teen is hard, especially in today’s world.
Every week we meet students who struggle with everything from self-image and worth to varying addictions. Our greatest hope is that our students would find freedom in Christ and not struggle alone. Last semester we ran a pilot program of re:gen for students and watched as each participant gained confidence in Christ to overcome addictions, doubts and harmful behaviors. If your teen deals with depression, addiction of any kind, anxiety, a lack of self-worth, an eating disorder, or struggles to trust others re:gen may be a great next step! We will launch re:gen for students on September 8th during the 9:30am hour at The HUB.
Here’s how it works: The first week we will walk through a bit of an orientation to know what’s coming. Then for two weeks we will walk through materials that the ministry provides to identify where we need help. Once we identify where we need help we will “Assess the Situation” for the next 5 weeks. This is a critical part of the re:gen journey so we spend some time on it! The we close out the semester with making a “Replacement Plan” to begin new habits and thought patterns. In the Spring Semester we tackle the second half of the re:gen journey, and we will share more about that soon!
