Summer Message Series
June 5, 9:30 am - August 22 - 11:00 am
High School students are asking questions like, “where do I belong, what should I believe, how can I matter, and what will I do?” The MET High School Ministry is dedicated to helping high school students answer these questions. We desire to listen to their questions and respond carefully. Ultimately, we want to connect them to Christ and others and help them find a place to belong. We also seek to provide opportunities for them to make a difference within their community. Finally, we want to guide and encourage their vision of God’s purpose for their life.

STUDENT MINISTRY ASSOCIATE
Teenage years aren’t easy. We are here to partner with you through all of them. One of our goals is to come alongside of you as a mom/dad and help you be a spiritual influence in the life of your child. This is a difficult but vital role and we want to support you as best as we can. Below you will find some resources geared to parenting teenagers. To stay informed on upcoming events and resources for your family, please subscribe to our Instagram and Facebook page or sign up for text communication through our Remind channel!
Students are not the church of the future, students are the church today.
Thanks so much for expressing interest in partnering with the Student Ministry to disciple this generation. Jesus said the greatest among us are those who serve! At the Met Student Ministry, volunteering isn’t what we want FROM you—it’s what we want FOR you. We believe that when we grow in our serving we grow in our faith.
Our Connect Team is responsible for connecting students in our ministry and with other students. They help first time guests find a friend, check students into our system, host, and welcome students.
Our Experience Team is responsible for the actual experience of the night. The E-Team serves in our Cafe, Rec, Worship, and our Tech team.
Our Small Group Leader team serves on Sunday mornings during our Small Group hour. They are responsible for shepherding a group of 8-12 students.
Once a month we gather all together to celebrate Jesus, sit in His presence, and hear from His word. These nights are geared to our entire student ministry to bring opportunities for teenagers to experience the life-changing presence of Jesus.
