Serve on the Guest Experience Team
Looking for a great first step to serve at The MET? Guest Experience is a great place to start! This team helps create a warm, welcoming environment on Sundays, greeting guests, answering questions, and making sure everyone feels seen and valued. It’s more than hospitality, it’s helping people experience the love of Christ through meaningful connection.
Welcome Center Coordinator – Lead the charge in creating a warm, helpful environment for guests. You’ll support and guide the Welcome Center team, answer questions, help people take next steps, and ensure our Guest Experience teams are equipped and aligned to serve with excellence. (Experience serving on the Guest Experience team required.)
New Here, Start Here Team – Be the friendly first impression for those taking a first step at The MET. This team serves at the Welcome Center and key connection points to help guests fill out a Connect Card, navigate the app, or learn how to get plugged in. You’ll help make sure no one takes their next step alone.
Check-In Team
Welcome families and volunteers by assisting with check-in systems for Kids, Students, or Special Needs ministries. Friendly, tech-savvy helpers make this a great first impression role.
Coffee Team
Help fuel Sunday mornings, one cup at a time! Brew, set up, and serve at our coffee stations to make guests feel at home. (Lifting, cleaning, and setup required.)
Host Team
Love helping people feel comfortable? Help guests find seats and create a relaxed, welcoming environment in the Worship Center. Support events like Baptism Sunday, Parent Dedication, or special classes by greeting attendees, helping them navigate the space, and offering a warm presence.
Connect Team
Be someone who sees people. Connect Team members welcome and engage guests across campus with genuine conversation.
Greeting Team
Put a smile on someone’s face before they even walk in the door. From handshakes to high-fives, you’ll help every guest feel seen and welcomed.
Parking Team
Be the first face people see and the last to send them off. Help direct cars, keep things moving, and offer a joyful first impression.
Prayer Team – We believe prayer changes everything. This team is available during response times, as well as before or after services, to pray with and for individuals seeking encouragement, healing, or direction. If you have a heart for listening and interceding, this is a powerful way to serve.
Transition Team
Like to jump in where needed? Reset chairs, prep the Worship Center between services, and keep things ready to welcome guests.
Serve With Kids Ministry
Preschool - (Infants - Kinder)
Sunday Serve Opportunities (9:30, 11:00, 12:30)
Hall Monitor – Help create a secure, peaceful environment by monitoring hallways and supporting classroom needs.
Coordinator – Support volunteers by checking rosters, prepping supplies, and ensuring the morning runs smoothly.
Worship Leader – Lead fun, age-appropriate worship with songs and motions that help little ones engage with God.
In-Room Leader (Infants–Kinder) – Love on littles while teaching foundational truths through play, songs, and stories.
Firm Foundation Volunteer – Provide fun, faith-filled programming for kids staying a second service while parents serve.
Wednesday Nights 6:30pm – 8:00pm (during seasonal programming)
Coordinator – Provide midweek leadership and help volunteers stay equipped and supported throughout the night.
Worship Leader – Lead engaging worship that gets preschoolers moving and singing about God’s love.

Group Leader – Guide kids in activities and discussion as they build friendships and grow in faith midweek.
Thursday Nights 6:30pm – 8:00pm (Care Ministries Support):
Coordinator – Oversee kids programming while parents attend Care Ministries classes, helping leaders feel equipped.
Volunteer – Create a safe, welcoming space for kids while parents participate in recovery and support groups.
Preteens - (4th-6th Grade)

Coordinator – Provide leadership to Sunday volunteers and help the morning run smoothly.
Lesson Lead – Teach or narrate the weekly Bible lesson with clarity, creativity, and truth.
Girls Group Leader – Facilitate connection and discussion with a small group of preteen girls.
Boys Group Leader – Encourage spiritual growth and conversation in a small group of preteen boys.
Flight Class Volunteer – Lead a second-hour experience designed to deepen discipleship and create fun for kids staying multiple services.
Wednesday Nights 6:30pm – 8:00pm (during seasonal programming)
Coordinator – Support the midweek team, handle logistics, and guide volunteers.
Game Leader – Lead fun, large-group games to help preteens build friendships and engage in community.
Group Leaders – Walk with preteens through real conversations and small group time.
Lesson Leaders – Bring the Bible to life through large-group teaching or storytelling.
Special Needs

Coordinator – Support buddies and classroom volunteers, help with check-in, and guide transitions throughout the morning.
Worship Leader – Lead inclusive worship with songs, motions, and joy for kids and adults with special needs.
Adults Room Leader – Create a safe, engaging space for adults with special needs to experience community and faith.
Students Room Leader – Support middle and high schoolers with special needs through Bible time, worship, and connection.
Kids Room Leader – Partner with younger kids with special needs in a sensory-considerate, Jesus-centered environment.
Wednesday Nights 6:30pm – 8:00pm (during seasonal programming)
Group Leaders – Build consistent relationships and guide participants through weekly lessons and activities.
Serve with Student Ministry - (7th - 12th Grade)
Middle and high school are some of the most defining years in a student’s life, and you can be a steady, Christ-centered voice during that season. Whether you’re welcoming students into the room or walking with them through real-life questions, your presence matters.
Gathering Team – Help make Sundays and Wednesdays the best part of a student’s week! From check-in to worship, this team sets the tone with energy, warmth, and connection. You’ll welcome students, be a consistent adult in their world, and create a space where they feel safe and seen.
Small Group Leader – Every student needs someone in their corner. As a Small Group Leader, you’ll build relationships, ask good questions, and create a space for real conversations. Your role? To guide students in their faith and help them discover what it looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life. (Must be a MET member to lead a Small Group)
Serve with Young Adults
Young adulthood is a season of transition, growth, and seeking. If you’re passionate about walking alongside 18–30-somethings in meaningful community, this is a great place to serve.
Gathering Host Team
Help set the tone for our monthly YA gatherings by welcoming guests, setting up, resetting space, and creating a warm environment where people feel at home.
Group Leader (College or Post-Grad)
Build authentic community with young adults through discipleship-focused small groups. We’re looking for relational leaders who can foster connection and lead with wisdom and authenticity.
Serve with MET Women
MET Women exists to help women connect with each other and grow in faith at every stage of life.
Hospitality & Events Team
Help plan, decorate, or host for seasonal gatherings like Women’s Breakfast, Girls Night Out, Widows Ministry or other events / programs. Great for creatives, organizers, or welcoming hearts.
Outreach
Help us reach out to women throughout the year with care and encouragement. This team connects with single moms, widows, first-time guests, and others through simple things like notes, texts, calls, or follow-up after events. It’s a flexible, meaningful way to help women feel seen and supported. Time commitment varies by season and need.
Tech Team – Support MET Women events by running audio, slides, or Propresenter so everything flows smoothly. No experience needed—just a willingness to learn and help behind the scenes!
Table Hosts / Small Group Facilitators
Lead or co-lead a group during Bible studies or short-term classes. You’ll guide conversation, encourage connection, and help women grow in the Word.
Bible Study Teacher or Class Leader
Do you love helping others understand God’s Word? We’re looking for women to teach or co-lead Bible studies or classes, either in the morning or evening. If you have a passion for Scripture and a heart to lead, we’ll give you the tools and support to get started.
Discipleship Mentor
Have you seen God’s faithfulness in your life? You don’t have to be perfect, just willing to walk with another woman through prayer, encouragement, and Scripture. We’re looking for mentors to invest in others through one-on-one discipleship.

We’re recruiting men who want to grow as servant leaders, build strong connections, and make a lasting impact through hands-on ministry. We are committed to serving God by meeting tangible needs in our church and community. This fall, the team will:
- Support communion and baptism services
- Assist with church ministry events and local mission initiatives
- Serve alongside parking, greeting, and men’s ministry teams
- Provide practical help with service projects
Cook Team
The Cook Team brings men together through food, serving behind the scenes to make men’s events memorable and welcoming. From men’s breakfasts to game nights and special gatherings, this team helps create an atmosphere where men can connect, grow, and build community. We’re looking for men who enjoy cooking, serving, and supporting the mission of MET Men throughout the year.
Bible Class Host
Hosts create a warm, welcoming environment for Sunday morning Bible classes, which are offered in the spring, summer, and fall seasons. This role is ideal for individuals or couples who enjoy hospitality and making it easy for others to grow in God’s Word. Commitment: 4–6 weeks per class
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing coffee and refreshments
- Taking attendance or checking in participants
- Setting up TVs, computers, or presentations
- Distributing outlines, study guides, or other materials
- Assisting the class facilitator with any additional needs

Serve with the Care Ministries
Walk with people through life’s most vulnerable moments, offering presence, and practical support when it’s needed most. Care Ministries nights (Thursdays) are full of powerful stories, meaningful connections, and life-changing conversations, and you can be part of it. Whether you’re greeting guests, setting up snacks, or helping run tech, you’re helping create a safe and welcoming space for people to experience healing and hope.
Greeter / Welcome
Be the first friendly face at the door. Help guests feel seen, welcomed, and confident about where to go.
Check-In
Help participants get checked in and ready to go! You’ll assist with registration and help newcomers feel at ease.
Café / Hospitality
Create a warm environment by prepping and restocking snacks and drinks. You’ll help people feel cared for in the little things.

Support the worship portion of the programming by running slides, videos, and more. Training available for sound and tech setup too!
Re:Gen Mentor (Application & Interview Required)
Walk alongside someone in their recovery journey, starting at Step 4, offering encouragement, accountability, and Christ-centered support. Training is provided.
Set Up / Tear Down
Help set the stage for transformation by preparing the space before the night begins (arrive by 5:00pm) or staying after to clean up (8:30–9:00pm).
Serve with the Seasonal Events Crew
Seasonal Events Team
Help make big Sundays extra special. From Christmas and Easter to Mother’s and Father’s Day, this team helps create beautiful, welcoming environments for our guests.
Ways to serve:
- Creative team – help plan and design environments
- Craft & decor team – prep, build, or decorate ahead of time
- Setup/teardown crew – move, lift, and transform spaces
- Hospitality team – greet, smile, and welcome guests on event days
Time commitment varies by event and role.
You don’t have to serve at every event, but we’d love to know you’re available and willing to be part of making these days meaningful and memorable.

Support external events hosted on our campus—from concerts to school programs. You’ll help represent The MET with joy and hospitality.
Event Space Set-up & Reset (All Events)
Be an extra pair of hands to help set the event space by arranging furniture, tables, and décor—and reset the room afterward to prepare for the next group.
Small Event Host Assistant
Support the MET Event Coordinator with any event needs while being another warm and welcoming presence to guests. Help guests navigate the space and answer potential questions about The MET Church and its services.
Large Event Roles (Concerts/Artists):
Load In/Load Out
Join the tour crew to unload and reload gear from tour trailers. No technical experience required. Must be 18+, wear closed-toe shoes, and ready for some lifting and teamwork!
Runner
Support the tour team by running errands throughout the day. Must be 25+ with a license and high-capacity vehicle (SUV/minivan).
Ticket Takers & Will Call
Scan tickets and check in guests with a warm welcome—training and tech provided!
Greeters – Lobby
Be a friendly face helping guests find their way and feel at home as soon as they walk in.
Usher
Guide guests to seats and restrooms while keeping an eye out for any needs or spills.
Floater
Fill in where needed and help give breaks. You’re the extra set of hands that keeps everything running smoothly.
Merch Table
Assist with merchandise sales using an iPad. Tour staff will train you, just bring your smile!
Parking Lot Greeters/Monitors
Wave, smile, and help direct parking while keeping things flowing safely and smoothly outside.
