We inspire people to encounter God.

The purpose of The MET Worship Team is to pursue the heart of Jesus by cultivating true worshipers who express their love for the Lord on and off the platform. We use our gifts and talents to prepare the atmosphere for people to encounter God’s presence.

Our team is made up of MET Worship staff and Dream Team volunteers who serve during weekend services, special events, and outreach opportunities—locally and globally.

Vocalists should be able to hear, find, and maintain harmonies while actively engaging in expressive, Spirit-led worship.

Musicians should be able to play with excellence, follow musical direction, and demonstrate stage presence.

 

Interested in joining the team?

Our onboarding process is designed to equip you musically and spiritually before leading worship. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Audition

Submit an online worship team application, including a video demonstrating your vocal or instrumental skills. Those who demonstrate the necessary skills will be invited to a live audition with the Worship Leadership Team. 

Step 2: Activate

If selected, you will attend a worship workshop to develop both musically and spiritually. The training process will conclude with a Commissioning Ceremony before you officially begin serving. 

Step 3: Platform

After training, you’ll be placed into a rotation schedule based on availability and ministry needs. Worship team members are discipled to grow in their role and leadership.

When will I hear back about my application?

You’ll get a confirmation email as soon as you submit. We’ll carefully review your audition and follow up with you to let you know the next steps

When will I hear back after my live audition?

You’ll hear from us within two (2) weeks after your live audition.

When are rehearsals?

Team members are scheduled in advance and use Planning Center Online (PCO) to access music and set flow.
Rehearsals are held before each scheduled service, and members are expected to come prepared.
